Making it to college requires an early start. Good learning habits, acquired early make it so much easier for a child to do well in both second and third level education.

Junior Fast Track is a personal support programme run by Citywise Education for young people in 4th class and upwards. It gives children regular support in their schoolwork so that they can do well in school and later on when they make it to college. The idea is that the young person and his/her family grows up with Fast Track, being guided as the years go by.

Junior Fast Track involves help with normal school homework, an emphasis on reading, and help in developing good study habits and skills. Parents are encouraged to meet with the student’s mentor every term. The young person also participates in sports and outdoor activities as part of the Fast Track programme. In this way learning is always enjoyable.
Citywise is now operating in the Jobstown area for almost fifteen years, and some of its early members have now completed college.
