Bag packing a success
On the first weekend in July Dunnes stores in the Square kindly hosted Citywise members for a fundrasing bagpack. Over 100 young people helped out on the tills over the weekend and close on €2000 was fundraised. This money will go towards helping to run the busy summer programme at the Citywise centre in Jobstown. Thank you very much Dunnes for having us.

Thank you for supporting Citywise.
Citywise provides education, youth activities and leadership training to young people in West Tallaght. Over 500 people regularly attend our centre and we encourage them to develop their sporting, music or other talents as well as their capacity to learn. We encourage everyone to give of their best.
The range of activities is enormous. For some who are interested in healthy pastimes Citywise is their club (Citywise Clubs). For others it is an education centre which helps get them to college (Fast Track programmes). Yet for others, who have dropped out of the education system at an early age, it is their way towards the Junior Cert and a second chance (Midschool).
We don’t get state funding, so we depend on ordinary people like you and ordinary companies like to one you work for their support. We also encourage people to volunteer their time to help run our programmes and to help in fund-raising.
So if you can help, or if you are interested in any of our activities, or if you want someone to do one of our summer programmes then see our website www.citywise.ie or contact John on info@citywise.ie or telephone 4049736 or drop into the Durkan Centre on Fortunestown Way
A big thank you to Dunnes Stores for having us this weekend
