Liffey Descent

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Liffey Descent, Citywise is aiming to put 50 canoeists on the water on September 6, and to raise €25,000 in the process.

The drain on public finances has left many organisations high and dry. The deep waters of the recession have sunk some worthy craft. Citywise does not want to be one of them. To get to the other bank, where all those green shoots are growing, we really need your help. Now is the time to help us paddle our own canoe.

Each canoe requires a minimum sponsorship of €250. A single sponsorship of €250 may also bring with it a tax benefit.

So either you, your colleagues or your company get together now and sponsor a paddler for us. Thank you very much.
