At Citywise Education, we provide a supportive, and inspiring space for primary school children to explore, learn, and grow. Our programmes blend fun and learning, with activities in STEAM, sports, art, music, homework support, and personal development. Our goal is to spark curiosity, develop skills, and help every child reach their full potential — in school and in life.

Primary Programmes

Afterschool

Below is a list of our primary after-school clubs and a brief description of what happens in each one: Afterschool and Homework Club - This club runs daily from Monday to Thursday from 2.45pm – 3.45pm, and offers children from 3rd - 6th class, a quiet supervised environment and support with their homework from staff alongside fun engaging activities. Conomara/Gaoith Dobhiar – All the fun Citywise has to offer in Irish Chess Club – Young people gather to learn, play, and improve their chess skills in a friendly and supportive environment. Members can take part in casual games, practice strategies, and receive tips from more experienced players or mentors. Athens & Brussels (Boys) and Grenoble & Hamburg (Girls) 3rd – 6th class - Athens & Brussels and Grenoble & Hamburg are both activity-based groups that provide club style fun and games, as well as outdoor trips. These provide great opportunities to develop social skills from a young age and new pastimes while making new friends in the process. These clubs run on Thursdays at 4.30pm - 6.30pm. Art Club - Young people come together to explore their creativity through various activities such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and crafts. The club provides a relaxed and supportive environment where members can learn new techniques and express themselves. Guitar Club – Guitar Club happens every Monday. All levels welcome.

Primary Programmes

STEAM

Below is a list of our STEAM clubs and a brief description of what happens in each one: Talks and Tallies - For anyone who wants to practice their maths and/or language skills. The group will explore maths and European languages. For those with an interest or in need of some extra help. Fidelity Code Club Juniors - An introduction to programming for primary school children. As they are introduced to the amazing world of coding, they will create basic games and animations using block-based tools like Scratch to introduce the fundamentals of programming in a fun and engaging way that keeps them interested. STEAMettes – A dedicated space which promotes women in steam by breaking down barriers surrounding the field Creative Media Club – This group aims to bridge the gap between primary and secondary school by being available to 5th & 6th class students as well as 1st & 2nd year students. Creative Media Club provides children with the opportunity to develop their media literacy, design, creative skills through podcasting, movie making and more. Inventors Club - For primary school students with an interest in STEAM but unsure of where to start. From science experiments to engineering challenges, there’s something for everyone. Robotics – For primary and secondary school students, 5th & 6th class and 1st & 2nd year, with a focus on everything and anything robotics, starting with Lego robotics and advancing onto designing their own models with 3D printing and Arduino/Microbit.

Primary Programmes

Junior Fast Track

Junior Fast Track Boys & Girls - This programme is designed for 4th to 6th class students and includes both an educational lesson and a extra-curricular activity. It aims to support young people with the potential to attend college by nurturing their ambition through a mix of diverse classes, educational trips, and exposure to new subjects. As the programme is academically demanding, applicants must submit a copy of their latest school report along with their application.
