Fast Track Academy

Our Mission

The aim of Fast Track Academy is to support young people in progressing to further and higher education pathways, including university, PLC courses, apprenticeships, and other post-secondary opportunities. In Jobstown and local cluster areas in West Tallaght, college progression rates are currently as low as 12%, in comparison to 29% in the wider Dublin-24area (Higher Education Authority). The 4 Pillars of Fast Track

Supervised Study - Our supervised study spaces continued to support 3rd, 5th, and 6th Year students from the local area, with our boys’ and girls’ study rooms open for over 25 hours each week, Monday to Saturday

Additional Classes - A total of 1,564 classes are delivered across a wide range of subjects, including Maths, Science, Languages, English, Irish, History, and Geography.

Mentorship - Mentoring is a key element of Fast Track Academy, providing students with one-to-one support from Citywise staff and volunteers.

Guest Speakers - Guest speaker sessions broaden students’ horizons, including Careers Evenings featuring professionals from finance, engineering, politics, trades, science, healthcare, and business
