Citywise on Q102!

This week, Citywise featured on The Morning Show on Q102! Adam and Daire joined Kathryn Thomas to explain what Citywise is, the impact it has on the communities we work in and support, and what is so special about the way we operate.

Both Adam and Daire highlighted how crucial it is to showcase the various academic and professional pathways young people could follow with the right support.

By developing a close relationship with the children and young people who come here and focusing on where their passions lie, Citywise’s team shows them how to take their aspirations a step further. Crucial to this is Citywise’s Leadership programme, which gives young people the chance to look up to relatable role models and increase their self-confidence.

It is through this long-term involvement that Citywise may turn a young person’s interest into higher academic and professional aspirations, sustained through extensive academic support at Citywise. Over the last few years, 95% of students who follow our Fast Track Academy Programme have progressed through further and higher education.

Lastly, Adam and Daire also talked about our expansion plans, not only in other communities across Dublin, but also in our Centre in Jobstown, through the building of a new Climate, Science, and Language Centre.

If you want to know more about Adam’s own story at Citywise and our future plans, listen to the full episode here.
