When schools close their doors, at Citywise, we fling ours open! Over the course of the Easter Holidays we were very busy. We started off with a trip for secondary school students to visit the KPMG offices in Dublin City Centre. Our students were treated to two tremendous workshops, honing their interview skills and completing mock interviews with the KPMG team.

Then attention turned to STEAM and a visit to the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training was on the menu for our new BioTechies programme. BioTechies seeks to expose young people to the vast number and variety of careers available in the biologics and pharmaceutical sectors. We also had our friends from the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, deliver one-to-one maths classes to our sixth year Fast Track Academy students in preparation for their upcoming Leaving Certificate exams.

Our Easter Camps for primary school students saw 115 young people take part in activities from art, coding, and dodgeball to baseball, engineering challenges, and trips. It even included a visit from the SDCC Mobile Library and the 'nutty professors' for science demonstrations. We also had a group of young women from Italy visit, as part of our Erasmus+ funded, Women in Leadership programme. Our Citywise leaders are very excited to make the return journey in August!

A busy week!
